While I'm here -
some feed back for my essay would be cool.
Using modern technologies as an educational tool.
Other subject ideas.
Teaching with technology.
In resent years there has been a massive push to supply our schools with the necessary fund to update and upgrade classroom technology. Getting our school equip with the latest technology has seen to become another way to give children the best possible education. But is it essential to have every modern technology in every classroom? By focusing on this are we creating the “plug in generation”.
Quote I would like to use.
Technology used as a tool for inquiry-based learning such as project based activities were it is necessary that "students have a rich array of information to work with (rather than only preselected, quality filtered textbook content), when communications structures enable students to pose relevant questions to appropriate individuals…and when technology-based tools such as databases, analytic software, and composition software help them to extract understanding from information" (Becker, 2000).
Curriculum plays an important role in the effective use of technology as a teaching tool. Educational leaders and planners can shape programs that prepare teachers to use these powerful new learning tools effectively.
Having technology available at school encourages student that do not have assess to these technologies at home. Look into this idea – reword- elaborate on intent.
I hope this give you an idea were I am headed. Would love some feed back.
